Following our Open Spinning Day, we're in for an evening of sheepskin tanning with both Mo's of MicroMill - @moagen and @anthropocene.folk. We'll working together on two sheepskins, guided by Mo. We'll cover the start of the process by scraping a new sheepskin and see the other sheepskin mid-process, where we'll apply some layers of bark tea. This will be a hands-on workshop with opportunities to try each part of the process, or you're welcome to simply watch. Please note: you won't be taking a project home from this workshop but it's a wonderful opportunity to learn the fundamentals of bark tanning and ask questions, without the commitment of tanning a whole hide!

Mo/Imogen is a traditional craftswomen, born and raised in Aotearoa but spreading knowledge about crafts she learned in Norway.
