Drop Spindle Spinning

Join us for a Sunday afternoon of luscious, meditative, woolly goodness as we learn how to use drop spindles to make our own yarn from local wool. Mo will walk through the basics of how to select wool, draft for spinning, and use a drop spindle to make singles and plied yarn. 

Class spindles and materials for the workshop are provided - if you’re keen to buy the class spindle off of Mo after at cost ($15), you are more than encouraged to take it home to keep spinning. 

Suitable for anyone keen to: experiment and try something new, learn a craft thousands of years old, have a relaxing sensory experience, or deepen your fibre arts practice.
