Plant-Based Craft Club

Haere mai planty weavers all across the spectrum of craft! This club is for plant craft lovers who want to make alongside other plant craft lovers. BYO project, some kai to share if you would like (not expected), and your lovely plant enthusiastic self.

This is a space for you if you want to develop your skills in community through weaving together with any plants and techniques you please - think cordage/baskets/mats/containers in Harakeke, Ti Kouka, Willow, Ivy, etc etc! This space will be facilitated by MicroMill tutors who are keen to help you think through your projects/practices and weave threads of connection and collaboration across craft spaces. And who knows - maybe we can have some informal wee foraging outings between club sessions too? The sky is the limit. 

Appropriate tīkanga for working with and around various plants will be shared at the beginning of each session. By attending you have a responsibility to respect this tīkanga while in the space.

There will not be any formal instruction, club costs are intended to cover the venue and create a supported space for us to learn through doing, together.
